Waltham – Mrs. Adeline R. 'Lena' (Pullano) Noonan, of Waltham, formerly of Cambridge, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at her home. She was 89.
Born in Cambridge on June 17, 1918, a daughter of the late Anthony and Caroline (Summa) Pullano, Lena had been a Cambridge resident for almost seventy years. Before moving to Waltham eleven years ago, she had lived for a time in Belmont. She was a homemaker and parishioner at Saint Jude Church in Waltham.
She was the wife of the late Robert F. Noonan and leaves her daughter, Elizabeth A. 'Betty Ann' Noonan-Erickson and her husband, Dennis Erickson, of Waltham; her grandchildren, Kristen Erickson and Jennifer Hagerty; her great-granddaughter, Peyton Hagerty; her sister, Theresa Eason of Cambridge and many nieces and nephews.
Lena was also a sister of the late Peter, Salvatore, and Alphonse Pullano and Josephine Puglia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Cambridge Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
