Waltham - Mrs. Agnes (Robichaud) Bernard, of Waltham, died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 82.
Agnes was born in Acadieville, New Brunswick on November 9, 1927, a daughter of the late Alexander and Rosanna (LeBlanc) Robichaud, and had lived in Waltham for the past fifty-six years and was a homemaker.
She was the wife of the late Lucien Bernard who died February 20, 2010 and she leaves her children, Roland Bernard and Diane Bernard, both of Waltham, and Linda Rotunno and her husband, Robert, of Melrose; two brothers, Alfred Robichaud of Lake Placid, Florida and Armand Robichaud of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; two sisters, Eva Pineau and Evelyn Babineau both of Moncton, New Brunswick; her grandchildren, Michael, Rolanda, Rosalyn, and Aurora and her great-grandchildren, Evan, Marina Lyn, and Brenden.
Agnes was the mother of the late Paul Bernard and sister of the late Doris Robichaud.
Family and friends will honor and remember Agnes’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Wednesday, September 29th, from 3 to 7 p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
