Marlborough- Mrs. Agnes F. (MacDonald) Rooney of Marlborough, formerly of Waltham, died Sunday October 19, 2003 in Hearthstone at Marlborough. She was 93. <br><br>Born in Newton, a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Cloran) MacDonald, Mrs. Rooney lived in Waltham for many years before moving to Marlborough. She was an active parishioner at Saint Mary’s Church in Waltham.<br><br>The wife of the late Frederick P. Rooney, she leaves her children, Sr. Janice M. Rooney, S.N.D. of Nashua, NH, Eileen A. Morrisroe of Marlborough and Frederick P. Rooney of Holliston; her sisters, Mary E. Akins of Braintree, Margaret A. MacDonald of Marlborough, Frances N. Purtle of Abington and Jeanne Cavanaugh of Bridgewater; 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. <br><br>She was also a sister of the late Joseph McDonald, Samuel MacDonald, Charles MacDonald, Louise Demmons and Alyce MacDonald.<br><br>The Funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.<br><br>Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 p.m.<br><br>Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Building Fund, 435 Mammouth Road, Londonderry, NH 03055 or to Sisters of Notre Dame, Jeffrey’s Neck Road, Ipswich, MA 01938 would be appreciated.<br>
