Aimee L. Tobin, of South Weymouth, formerly of Malden, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 13, 2023 at South Shore Hospital. She was 37.
Aimee was born in Stoneham on February 8, 1986 and was raised in Malden. She was a graduate of Malden High School and with her family, participated in Saint Joseph’s Festival, a yearly event at their home parish.
Summer trips to Dennisport on the Cape and in later years, to York Beach, Maine brought many happy memories. She will long be remembered for her extraordinary talent in creative arts and for her love of music.
The center of her life was her daughter Aiva who brought her life’s greatest joys. Aimee was an attentive, loving and dedicated mother and family time with her large extended family created many happy memories.
In addition to her cherished daughter, Aiva Mae, she leaves her mother, Debra Tobin and her wife, Maureen “Reenie” McCue, of Waltham, and her father, James Tobin of Malden; her stepdaughter, Kylee McLaughlin; her partner in life, Bradley Garbarino; her sister, Colleen Marie Bates and her husband, Nicholas, of Wilmington; her nephew and godson, Jordan Anthony and nephew, Bryson Nicholas; her loving grandmother, Lee Angelo of Burlington, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, James Joseph and Catherine Marie Tobin of Arlington and James Angelo of McDonough, Georgia.
Family and friends will honor and remember Aimee’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, March 20th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning when her funeral service will held at 11 a.m. Following cremation, burial will be private.
