Alba L. Cardona

Waltham – Mrs. Alba L. Cardona, of Waltham, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at her home. She was 44. Born in Guatemala, Alba had been a Waltham resident for the past eleven years, and had worked for Direct Billing Associates in Waltham. She leaves her husband, Christopher C. Foster; her daughter, Mary Cardona Foster of Waltham; her mother, Clara Luz Barrera of Guatemala; three brothers, Francisco Cardona of Watertown, Manuel Cardona of Waltham and Edin Cardona of Allston; four sisters, Alicia, Isabel, Milvia and Lety Cardona, all of Guatemala; her mother-in-law, Mary (Cassidy) Foster of Charlestown; her sister and brothers-in-law, Patricia Austin and her husband, John, of Winooski, Vermont and Robert Foster of Charlestown and many nieces and nephews. She was also a daughter of the late Manuel Cardona and a sister of the late Angel Cardona. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
