Watertown – Mr. Albert H. Canacari, of Watertown, died Friday, October 15, 2010 at Wingate at Brighton. He was 90.
Albert was born in Denver, Colorado on June 7, 1920, a son of the late Charles and Olive Canacari, and had lived in Cambridge before moving to Watertown more than fifty years ago. During World War II he served with the United States Navy. Until his retirement he worked as a municipal supply sales representative for Dyar Sales and Machinery of Reading.
The husband of the late Josephine B. (Insalaco) Canacari, he leaves his children, Elena G. Canacari and her husband, Donald Bartlett, of Winthrop, Joyce L. O’Connell and her husband, Vincent, of Watertown, Lisa C. Terry and her husband, John, of Belmont, Alberta R. Canacari of Watertown and Michael V. Canacari and his wife, Maureen, of Florida; his sister, Marie Sostarich of Denver, Colorado; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private.
