Waltham – Mr. Albert M. Ryan, of Waltham, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Piety Corner Nursing Home in Waltham. He was 94. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Henry M., II and Ada G. (Truelove) Ryan, he was a lifelong resident. Albert was a graduate of Waltham High School and had worked at the J.L. Thomson Manufacturing Company. During World War II he served with the United States Army in the Pacific. After the war he co-owned Sudbury Sign Service and later was the proprietor of his own sign painting company in Waltham. He was a former member of P.N.G. Gov. Gore Lodge No. 198. He was the brother of the late Henry M. Ryan III and leaves his best friend, Larry Carey and his family of Waltham. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Rev. Robert F. Hoaglander will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
