Alexander S. Melius

Weston – Mr. Alexander S. Melius, of Weston, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Laconia, New Hampshire. He was 30.

Alex was born in Winchester on August 6, 1983 and had lived in Tewksbury and in Belchertown for a number of years before moving to Weston. Alex attended Weston schools and graduated from North American Wilderness Academy in French Gulch, California.

He will long be remembered as a beloved son, brother and uncle who had a terrific sense of humor. Alex was also a talented cook, loved sports and was a friend to animals of all types.

Alex leaves his parents, Rev. Dr. Stephen T. and Sandra K. (Moore) Melius; his brothers and sister, Joseph Rappold, Jr. of Castleton, New York, Carl Melius and his wife, Amber, of Los Angeles, California, Bryan Rappold of Exeter, New Hampshire, Angela Caponigro and her husband, Anthony, of Haverhill and Keith Melius of Weston; two nieces and his nephew.

Family and friends will honor and remember Alex's life by gathering for a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 15th in Weston United Methodist Church, 377 North Avenue (Rte. 117) Weston.
