Lake Placid, Florida - Mr. Alfred Robichaud of Lake Placid FL, formerly of Waltham, died Friday, November 6, 2015. He was 93. Mr. Robichaud was born in Arcadiaville, New Brunswick, Canada, on January 20, 1922, a son of the late Alex and Roseanna (LeBlanc) Robichaud.
Alfred had lived in Waltham for forty years before moving to Florida. He was a carpenter for Iconic Manufacturing in Burlington for over ten years and later was self-employed until his retirement.
He was a parishioner of Saint Joseph's Church in Waltham and a member of the French American Victory Club.
Alfred was the husband of the late Florence (Maillet) Robichaud. He is survived by his children, Robert Robichaud of Holden, Joseph Norman Robichaud of Springfield, Jeannette Lambert of Lake Placid FL, and Raymond Robichaud of Los Angeles CA; his brother, Armand Robichaud of Tampa, FL; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Alfred was also the brother of the late Dorice Robichaud, Eva Pineau, Evelyn Babineau, and Agnes Bernard.
Family and friends will honor and remember Alfred's life by gathering for calling hours on Friday, July 29th, from 4 to 8 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Saturday at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
