Alice C. Carey

Waltham - Miss Alice C. Carey, of Waltham, died Monday, November 19, 2012 in the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland. She was 73.

Alice was born in Brighton on June 1, 1939, a daughter of the late John and Emily (Haviland) Carey. She had lived in Brighton and in Boston before moving to Waltham in 1974. Alice had worked for the Raytheon Company for over forty years until her retirement.

She is survived by her brothers, John A. Carey of Waltham and Joseph McCarthy of Petaluma, California; her sister, Edna Bucelwicz of Needham and three nephews.

Alice was also a sister of the late Joan M. Carey.

Family and friends will honor and remember Alice's life by gathering to visit at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 23rd in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
