Alice L. (Morrow) Collura

Waltham – Mrs. Alice L. (Morrow) Collura, of Waltham, died Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Langdon Place Nursing Home in Nashua, New Hampshire. She was 79.

Alice was born in Waltham on January 23, 1931, a daughter of the late William A. and Effie M. (Starkey) Morrow and had been a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1950 and had been employed by Mr. Big Toyland in Waltham for many years and had also worked at Micro-Semi in Watertown.

Alice leaves her husband Joseph J. Collura; her daughters, Isabel J. Collura of Hollis, New Hampshire and Judith A. Grossi of Milford, New Hampshire; and her grandchildren, Joseph Grossi, Andrea Grossi, Shaun Sabo, and Julianne Sabo.

Alice was also the sister of Elizabeth Denty, Pearl Sullivan, Patricia Morrow, Dorothea Darling, Geraldine Cedargren, Joan Freeman, Barbara Pierce, Charles Morrow, Shirley Duff, Priscilla Morin, Paul Morrow, David Morrow and William A. Morrow, Jr.

Family and friends will honor and remember Alice’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday where her funeral service will be held at 4 p.m.

Burial will be private.
