ALice B. Creighton

Miss Alice B. Creighton of Waltham died Saturday, May 17, 2008 in the Epoch Senior Healthcare in Weston. She was 88. A lifelong Waltham resident, Miss Creighton was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School, Class of 1938. She worked at the Barbara Ann Bakery which was located on Lexington Street in Waltham for fifty years and after that, she was a housekeeper of Dr. Byron Branch of Waltham. Miss Creighton was the daughter of the late Charles and Delia (Hennessey) Creighton and the sister of the late Charles Vincent Creighton. She is survived by several cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Thursday at 9:30 am from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham, at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 pm.
