Alice G. Lane

Sudbury - Miss Alice G. Lane of Sudbury, formerly of Concord, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was 96. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (Crehan) Lane, Alice had been a lifelong resident of Waltham, and had also lived for fifteen years in Concord before moving to Sudbury. She was a bookkeeper for twenty-five years at Waltham City Hall in the Treasurer's Office at Waltham City Hall until her retirement. Alice was the sister of the late John, Joseph, Gerald and Mary Lane. She leaves one sister, Rita M. Lane of Sudbury and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. The Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish at Saint Bernard's Church, 12 Monument Square, in Concord at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Bernard's Cemetery, Concord. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
