Alice E. Qualters

Waltham – Mrs. Alice E. (Kelley) Qualters of Waltham died Monday, September 5, 2004 in Caritas Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Brighton. She was 75. Mrs. Qualters was a lifelong resident of Waltham and a graduate of Waltham High School. For many years she worked as an election poll worker at the Bright School in Waltham. She was a former member of Saint Jude Ladies Sodality in Waltham. Mrs. Qualters was the daughter of the late John A. and Helen S. (Boland) Kelley and a sister of the late Robert Kelley, Arthur Kelley, and Helen McCusker. She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Qualters; two sons, John R. Qualters and his wife Jean, and Robert A. Qualters and his companion Lorri, all of Waltham; her grandchildren, Kelley M., John P. 'J.P.' and Paige M. Qualters; her sister, Mary Goodwin of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
