Alice R. (Gauthier) Randolph

Mrs. Alice R. (Gauthier) Randolph, of Auburndale, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 94.

Alice was born in Waltham on September 7, 1923, the youngest of six children born to the late Joseph and Cecilia (Lescarbeault) Gauthier and was a graduate of Waltham High School. After that she went to Burdett College in Boston and became a secretary at area companies.

Following her 1951 marriage to Robert S. Randolph the couple moved to Auburndale where they became lifelong residents. Bob and Alice enjoyed fifty-eight years together before his death in 2009.

She leaves her children, Sheila M. Randolph of Auburndale and Nancy E. Bezanilla of Waltham, her grandchildren, Kaylie and Jared Bezanilla and many nieces and nephews.

Alice was also a sister of the late Raymond, Gertrude, Joseph and Wilfred Gauthier and Blanche Killam.

Family and friends will honor and remember Alice's life by gathering for her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3rd in Saint Bernard's Church, 1523 Washington Street, West Newton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
