Alma E. Eagan

Waltham – Mrs. Alma E. (Bourgeois) Eagan of Waltham died Wednesday, July 16, 2003 in her home. She was 96. Born in New Brunswick, Canada, Mrs. Eagan had lived in Waltham for over ninety years. Mrs. Eagan was the wife of the late John H. Eagan, the grandmother of the late James (Jimmy) Connors and the daughter of the late Martial and Adeline (Doiron) Bourgeois. She is survived by her children, Patricia E. Hassell and her husband, Leonard, of Waltham, Judith Sullivan of Waltham, Jonathan Eagan and his companion, Eileen Rogoff, of Newton and Peter Eagan of Boston; her grandchildren, Christine Hassell of Aptos, CA, Stephanie Hassell of Fairfax, VA, and Jeffrey Sullivan of Quincy; and her great grandchildren, Jeffrey Sullivan, Jr. and Jared James Sullivan both of Quincy. The Funeral will be held at 9 am Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-8 pm.
