Naples, Florida – Mrs. Andrea H. (Henrie) Cormier, of Naples, Florida and formerly of Waltham died peacefully at home on Saturday, February 16, 2019 with her family by her side. She was 73.
Andrea was born in New Brunswick, Canada on February 4, 1946, the daughter of the late Albert and Florine (Roy) Henrie. At the age of 16 she moved to Waltham, always returning "home" to Canada during the summers.
Andrea loved talking on the phone and playing cards with her friends and family and did so any chance she could. She enjoyed cross-stitching and crocheting special keepsakes for her loved ones. She was also an active member of the church. Andrea was a fun, kind and loving soul who always put others first.
She is survived by her loving husband, Henry Cormier of Naples, Florida; her daughter, Denise Aucoin (and husband Arthur) of Waltham; her granddaughters, Amanda and Jessica Aucoin; her siblings, Ernest Henrie of Fitchburg, Clarence Henrie of Moncton, NB, Louis Henrie of Moncton, NB, Denis Henrie of Littleton, Albertine Henrie of Leominster, Cecile LeBlanc of Bouctouche, NB and Roberta Henrie of Moncton, NB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Andrea's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, May 17th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
