Andrea A. (LeBlanc) Gaudet

Mrs. Andrea A. (LeBlanc) Gaudet of Glastonbury Connecticut, formerly of Waltham, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018, in her home. She was 98. Mrs. Gaudet, a daughter of the late Andre and Salome (Bourque) LeBlanc, was born on July 1, 1919, in Saint Joseph, New Brunswick, Canada.

Mrs. Gaudet lived in Waltham for over sixty years before moving to Connecticut seven years ago. For twenty six years, she was an inspector for the Raytheon Company in Waltham until her retirement in 1976.

Mrs. Gaudet was a member of the Retirees at Raytheon as well as a member of Saint Joseph's Church Women's Guild in Waltham. She enjoyed dancing and traveling.

Mrs. Gaudet was predeceased by the love of her life, Armand R. Gaudet, in 2006. She leaves her son, Allan R. Gaudet and his wife, Maureen, of Glastonbury, her grandsons, Marc Gaudet and his wife, Leah, of Glastonbury and Scott Gaudet and his wife, Rachel, of Milford Connecticut, her great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Colin, Brayden, Sophia, and Evan Gaudet and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

In addition to her husband, her brothers and sisters predeceased her.

Family and friends will honor and remember Andrea's life by gathering for calling hours on Sunday, January 21st, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Monday at 9 am before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
