Andrew T. Mitchell

Watertown - Mr. Andrew T. Mitchell Jr., of Watertown, died Thursday May 29, 2008 at Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. He was 69. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Andrew and Helen (Manning) Mitchell, Andrew was a cab driver for over fifty years for Central Square Taxi and was an avid golfer at Powderhorn Golf Course in Lexington. He leaves his wife, Donna L. (McIsaac) Mitchell; his children, Andrew T. Mitchell III of Nashua, New Hampshire, Mary Ann Mitchell of Hudson, John K. Mitchell of Waltham, Danielle L. Hume of Waltham, Derek J. Hume of Newton, Ashley E. Mitchell and Jennifer L. Mitchell, both of Watertown; a brother, Paul Mitchell of Ashland and five grandchildren. The Funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
