Angela R. Rooney

Mrs. Angela R. (Malone) Rooney of Newtonville, died Wednesday November 17, 2004 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 81. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Carmello and Rose (Delfino) Malone, she worked for many years for the Raytheon Corporation as a coil winder. She was the wife of the late Hugh C. Rooney and sister of the late Nina Malone. She is survived by one daughter, Maureen L. Rooney of Newtonville; four brothers, William Malone and Salvatore Malone both of Waltham, Joseph Malone of Revere, Carmello Malone of Boston; one sister, Jean Carresi of Newton and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
