East Bridgewater – Mrs. Angelina R. (Manero) Badger, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Waltham, died peacefully at her home on Friday, July 25, 2008. She was 84. Born in Waltham on August 4, 1923 she was a daughter of the late Santo and Antonia (Algeri) Manero. Angelina was a lifelong resident of Waltham before moving to East Bridgewater four years ago. She was a 1942 graduate of Waltham High School and in her early years worked as a cake decorator for Hathaways Bakery. After that she worked for C. Manero catering until her retirement in 2000. Angelina loved to read, bake, crochet and spend time with her family. She leaves her children, Frederick Badger of Mansfield, Diane Johns and her husband, Richard, of East Bridgewater, Richard Badger of Wayland, Ralph Badger of Warwick, Rhode Island and James Badger of Marlboro; her grandchildren, Melissa, Richard, Jonathan, Angela, Julie, Katelyn, Ryan, Matthew, Andrew and James; her great-grandchildren, Natalie, Ethan, Mia and Zoe; her brother, Charles Manero of Stow; her sister, Josephine Attardo of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late James and Rosalie Manero and Concetta Casella. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
