Waltham – Mrs. Angelina M. (Gullotti) Cusano, of Waltham, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at her son's home in Medfield. She was 95.
Angelina was born in Waltham on June 13, 1917, a daughter of the late Rosario and Carmella (Mileti) Gullotti, and had been a lifelong resident before moving to her son Bill's home a year ago. She was a lifelong member of Saint Mary's Parish in Waltham. Angelina devoted her life to caring for her husband and children and in her later years found great joy in the love of each new generation born to the family.
The wife of the late William Cusano, she leaves her children, Marie Tolan and her husband, James; Rita Collins and her husband, Francis, all of Marlborough; Claire Cincotta and her husband, S. Joseph, of Waltham, William Cusano and his wife, Mary Generoso, of Medfield; Ann Cusano and her partner, Michael Palone, of Sudbury and Wayne Cusano and his wife, Joanna, of Middleboro; her brother, Albert Gullotti of Salem, New Hampshire; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the grandmother of the late Angela DiCicco and a sister of the late Benny Presti, James, Joseph, Frank, Anthony, Samuel and Charles Gullotti, Rose Jennette, Mary Caia and Lucy Landry.
Family and friends will honor and remember Angelina's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, June 18th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
