Waltham - Mrs. Angelina T. (Vinciulla) Maselli, of Waltham, died Monday, August 1, 2011 in Epoch of Weston.
She was born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Nunzio and Nunziata “Nancy” (Moltisanta) Vinciulla, and had been a lifelong resident. Angelina was a graduate of Waltham High School. She and her late husband, Libero N. Maselli, owned and operated the former Ruth Ellen Bake Shop on Main Street. She later worked at Brigham’s Ice cream Shop in Newton Centre and lastly for many years in the cafeteria and coffee shop at the former Waltham Hospital.
Angelina was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Church in Waltham and its Holy Rosary Guild. She was also a longtime volunteer at the Waltham Thrift Shop and a member of the Waltham Regina Margherita Lodge No. 1402, Order of Sons of Italy in America. She also enjoyed and took pride in her gardening.
Her husband, Libero T. Maselli, died March 30, 1976. She is also predeceased by her siblings, Philip Vinciulla, Frances Consoli and Joseph Vinciulla.
She leaves her daughters, Nancy A. Kelly of Waltham and Linda M. Bentley and her husband, James H. Bentley of Concord; her sister, Eleanor Aucoin of Waltham; her sisters-in-law Dorothy Vinciulla of Waltham and Lillian Vinciulla; her nieces and nephews and the extended Bentley family whom she considered her own family.
Family and friends will honor and remember Angelina’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, August 4th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
