Waltham – Mrs. Anita M. (Simeone) Allia of Waltham died Monday, May 17, 2010 in the Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Weston. She was 90.
Anita was born in Waltham on January 26, 1920, a daughter of the late Gaetano and Maria (Simeone) Simeone.
A lifelong resident of Waltham as a homemaker, she was a graduate of Waltham High School. Anita’s life centered around her children, grandchildren, and family.
Anita was the wife of the late Graciano Allia and the sister of the late Paul Simeone, Carmen Johnson, Guy Simeone, Flora Salamone, and Mary Simeone.
She is survived by her children, Anna Gahan and her husband, Alan, of Waltham, Vincent G. Allia of St. Paul, MN, Peter M. Allia and his wife, Ann, of Grafton, and Edward P. Allia and his wife, Sharon, of Eldersburg, MD, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial are private.
