Mrs. Anita G. (LeBlanc) Malvey of Littleton, formerly of Waltham, died Thursday, December 17. 2009 in the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was born in Waltham on August 13, 1937, a daughter of the late Patrick and Jeanne (Landry) LeBlanc. Until her retirement, Anita worked as a business manager for twenty-six years at the Walter E. Feranld School in Waltham. She leaves her children, Elizabeth 'Liz' (Kantowski) Distasio and her husband, Michael, of Acton, Eugene Kantowski of Manchester, New Hampshire, Laura Beltrami and her husband, Donald, of Littleton and Melissa Morse and her fiancé, Matthew Distasio, of Acton; her brothers, Philip LeBlanc of Billerica and Edward LeBlanc of Waltham; 11 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Anita was the mother of the late Leonard Kantowski and Mary Kantowski, the grandmother of the late Eric Kantowski, and the sister of the late Patrick LeBlanc. Family and friends will honor and remember Anita's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
