Waltham – Mrs. Ann E. (MacMaster) Farrell, of Waltham, died on Monday, January 8, 2018 in the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence. She was 72.
Ann was born in Judique, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on August 16, 1945, a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary S. (MacInnis) MacMaster. She dedicated her life caring for family and friends with unconditional love.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Leonard Farrell; her children, Brian Farrell of Brighton, Sandra Farrell of Waltham, Steven Farrell and his wife, Nanor, of Waltham and David Farrell of Clinton; her siblings, Mary C. MacMaster, John A. MacMaster, Joan MacDonald, Sadie MacMaster, Hugh MacMaster and Ronald MacMaster; also survived by four grandchildren; Kendall, Kai, Brody, Shant and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Hector, Donald and Angus A. MacMaster.
Family and friends will honor and remember Ann's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, January 11th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
