Waltham Mrs. Ann Lorraine (DuBois) Howard of Waltham died Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Saint Elizabeths Medical Center, Brighton. She was 72. Born in Watertown, a daughter of the late Eugene and Anna (Kidik) DuBois, she graduated from Saint Bernards High School in West Newton and from Katherine Gibbs College. A Waltham resident since 1954 she was the former owner of Dean Dairy in Waltham and Heritage Farm Ice Cream and Restaurant in Lowell. The wife of the late Robert J. Howard, Sr., she leaves her children, Christine M. Howard and her spouse Gail Flister of Acton, Robert J. Howard, Jr. and his wife Caroline of Lowell, Cheryll A. Pidgeon and her husband Richard of Bourne, Thomas D. Howard of Boston and Warren G. Howard and his wife Shelly of Wells, Maine; 3 brothers, Eugene Dubois of Florida, Frederick DuBois of Westwood and Donald DuBois of Rochester; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Thursday, August 5, from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
