Ann M. (Kelly) (Huff) Cody

Waltham – Mrs. Ann M. (Kelly) (Huff) Cody, died at home with her family at her side on Friday, February 2, 2024. She was 88. 

Ann was born on March 3, 1935 in Watertown a daughter of the late James and Eulalia (Callahan) Kelly. Raised in Watertown she was a graduate of Watertown High School. 

Ann worked in her nearly century old family business in Watertown, Kelly Florist, on Mount Auburn Street for many years in addition to raising her five children. 

She was proud of her Irish heritage and in earlier years was a talented ten pin bowler and played in various leagues in the area. Ann was really content and happy just being in the company of her family and friends. 

She was predeceased by her first husband. Elwin M. Huff; her son, Thomas J. Huff; and her siblings , James Kelly and Margaret Wilkerson. 

Ann leaves her children, Irene M. D’Agostino (Ray) of Natick, James D. Huff (Donna Shumski) of Hudson, Steven K. Huff of Waltham and Paul A. Cody (Jennifer) of Framingham; her grandchildren, Peter D’Agostino (Megan), Mark D’Agostino (Susan) and Emily D’Agostino, Alicia Mitchell (Jahmar), Thomas J. Huff, Jr. (Christina), Paul J. Cowing (Kathleen), and Travis Cody; her great-grandchildren, Dominic, Enzo, Natalie, Michael, Alison, Jordyn and Marlie and many nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends will honor and remember Ann’s life by gathering to visit on Monday, February 12^th from 11:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street Waltham followed by her funeral service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.
