Ann T. (Connolly) Joyce

Waltham - Mrs. Ann T. (Connolly) Joyce, of Waltham, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in her home. She was 89.

Ann was born in Woburn, a daughter of the late John M. and Mary J. (Kelly) Connolly, and had been a longtime Waltham resident. She was a graduate of Saint Charles High School in Woburn and earned a degree at Emmanuel College. She went on to further her education at Lesley College.

Until her retirement she worked as an elementary school teacher in Belmont where she taught for thirty years.

The wife of the late Thomas F. Joyce, Jr., she leaves her sisters, Rita Duran of Woburn, Louise Viles of Dedham, and Sister Mary Michael Connolly, SND of Ipswich; her dear friends, Kerry and Brian Hughes and many nieces and nephews.

Ann was also a sister of the late Mary Mahoney.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ann's life by gathering to visit on Monday, April 6th, at 10 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
