Houston, Texas- Mrs. Anna M. (McGovern) Connor of Houston, Texas, formerly of Waltham died Wednesday November 23, 2005 at the Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Webster, Texas. She was 93.<br><br>Born in Lowell, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Gaffney) McGovern, she lived in Waltham for most of her life before moving to Texas in 1995. Mrs. Connor was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School. For many years she was an office manager for the Prudential Insurance Co. in Waltham. Mrs. Connor was also employed as a jewel setter for the Raytheon Company in Newton, and for the R.H. Bird Company in Waltham.<br><br>She was the wife of the late Marcus M. Connor and sister of the late James, Thomas and John McGovern.<br><br>She leaves her daughter Mary E. French and her husband Raymond of Houston, Texas; two brothers Edward McGovern of Natick, Terrence McGovern of Sudbury; one sister Mary Murphy of Arlington; one granddaughter Christine A. French of New York City and many nieces and nephews.<br><br>The Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.<br><br>Visiting hours will be held Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.<br><br>Memorial donations may be made to Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, 17231 Mill Forest Road, Webster, Texas 77598. <br>
