Anna M. Conroy

Waltham - Mrs. Anna M. (Rohan) Conroy, of Waltham, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in her home. She was 89. Born in County Kerry, Ireland, a daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (Hobart) Rohan, Anna was a head bookkeeper at Grover Cronins Department Store in Waltham for many years until her retirement. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Conroy. Anna leaves one sister, Bridget T. Burns of Waltham; her nieces and nephew, MaeFrancis Kruppa of Chicopee, Irene O'Riordan and Teresa LeBlanc both of Waltham, Kathleen Harvey of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, and Kevin Burns of Searsmont, Maine and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center, 350 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
