Anna Hachey

Waltham – Mrs. Anna (Marderosian) Hachey, of Waltham, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Maristhill Nursing Home in Waltham. She was 88.

Anna was born in Newton on October 16, 1922, a daughter of the late Minas and Sirah (Barakian) Marderosian, and was raised and educated in Newton. She had been a Waltham resident since 1948.

The wife of the late Alfred Hachey, she leaves her children, David Hachey and his wife, Nancy, of North Billerica and Diane Kakis and her husband, Manny, of Chelmsford and four grandsons.

She was a sister of the late Elizabeth Libby, Dorothy Linscott and Rose DiPena.

Family and friends will honor and remember Anna’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday morning, August 12th, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery.
