Anna R. Weeks

Mrs. Anna R. (Grant) Weeks, of North Chelmsford, formerly of Waltham, died Friday, June 30, 2006 in the Park Manor Nursing Center, North Chelmsford. She was 80. Born in Wellesley, a daughter of the late Cecil and Alice (Beane) Grant, she was a nursing assistant for over fifty years at Weston Manor Nursing Home and at Reservoir Nursing Home in Waltham until her retirement in 2000. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Weeks, II and sister of the late Alice Grant, Grace Grant and Kay Doll She is survived by three sons, Arthur J. “Sonny” Weeks, Jr. and his wife Isabella of Tyngsboro, David C. Weeks and his wife Deborah of Framingham and Ronnie Weeks of Tennessee; one sister, Rose Greathead of Ashland, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, at 10 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Palm Manor Nursing Home, Patient Activity Fund, 40 Parkhurst Road, North Chelmsford, MA 01824.
