Anne L. Bowler

Waltham – Anne L. "Annie" Bowler, of Waltham, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at her home. She was 68.

Annie was born in Arlington on June 21, 1947, a daughter of the late John E. and Anna (Getrost) Bowler. She loved her Irish heritage, her family and her friends. At home Annie was a gourmet cook and had a fondness for traveling, golf and her cherished pets.

She leaves her sisters and brother, Bette A. Bowler of Waltham, Joan M. Caruso and her husband, Paul, of Stephens City, Virginia and John E. Bowler, Jr. of Fitchburg; her nieces, Caryn Caruso and Carleen Janke and her grandniece and grandnephew, Kennedy and Landon Janke.

Family and friends will honor and remember Annie's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, November 6th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
