Westford – Ms. Anne C. Murphy died Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Bridges of Epoch in Westford. She was 82.
Anne was born onJuly 12, 1936 in Waltham a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Agnes A. (Welch) Murphy. Raised in Waltham , she earned her Bachelor's degree from Regis College in Weston. She had two Master's degrees, one in History and one in Education from Boston College. She received her Doctorate in Education from Boston University.
Anne was a history teacher at Shrewsbury High School.
She was predeceased by her siblings. Father Humphrey "Joe" Murphy and Cheryl M. Mitchell.
Friends will gather to honor and remember Anne's life on Friday, Nov. 23rd in Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:10 p.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
