Waltham - Mrs. Annette T. (Cormier) Dugas, of Waltham, died Saturday, August 14, 2021 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was 84.
Annette was born on August 24, 1936 in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, New Brunswick, a daughter of the late Onézime and Mélina Cormier.
She immigrated to the States in 1962, settling in Waltham. She and her late husband, Roland, became lifelong residents and raised their family in the city. They were longtime parishioners at Saint Joseph's Church in Waltham.
Annette was the loving mother to Donald P. Dugas and his wife, Elizabeth, of Cambridge, Bernice T. Hancock and her partner Ken Morse, of Clinton, and Alan J. Dugas and his wife, Ann, of Milton. She is deeply mourned by her grandchildren, Sarah, Marc, Brigitte, and Raymond.
She was predeceased by her cherished son-in-law Paul E. Hancock and was a sister of Joseph, Aurèle, Dorca, Léona, Alonzo, Patrice, Angelo, Ronald, Emerie, Paul, Victorine, and Rosanna.
Family and friends will honor and remember Annette's life by gathering to visit in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, August 26th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
