Anthony S. "Nino" Auditore

Mr. Anthony S. "Nino" Auditore of Waltham, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, in the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland. He was 75. Nino was born in Boston on September 3, 1938, a son of the late Carmelo G. and Rose V. (Giove) Auditore.

As a youngster, Nino was proud to have been a Little League batting champion. His love of baseball continued as he played for Waltham High School in the 50's. He enjoyed golfing ,music, and fast cars. His life's mission was to work hard and play hard, all while maintaining a great sense of humor. His weekends were filled with Friday night trips to Regina Pizza, Saturday nights enjoying Chinese food and Sunday trips to Seabrook where he enjoyed the ocean.

Anthony was a self-employed builder until his retirement.

He is survived by his children, Anthony Auditore of Jackson NH, Gina Flaherty and her husband, Robert, of Acton, Michelle Auditore of Waltham and Lori Vitale and her husband, Richard, of Bedford; his sister, Carmela Auditore Levy and her husband, Malcolm, of Waltham; his former wife, Vincenza "Vinnie" Auditore; ten grandchildren and his nephew, David Levy.

Family and friends will honor and remember Anthony's life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, April 24th, from 4-8 pm in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Friday at 9:30 am before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery, Newton.
