Anthony Bonica

Waltham – Mr. Anthony Bonica, of Waltham, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 56. Born in Waltham, a son of the late John J., Sr. and Marion A. (Muise) Bonica, Anthony had been a lifelong resident. He graduated from Waltham High School and from Bentley College in Waltham and, until his retirement, had worked as an accountant for the City of Waltham. He leaves his brother, John J. Bonica, Jr. and his wife, Irene, of Waltham; his sister, Shirley A. Stevens and her husband, Carroll, of Waltham; his longtime companion, Joseph McVicar of Waltham, his nieces and nephews, John J. Bonica, III, Cherie A. Mehlhorn, Jason J. Bonica, Linda M. Bonica, Kimberly Tio, Wanda Gomber, and Jeffrey Stevens. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anthony’s Funeral at 9 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
