Waltham – Mr. Armando A. Iodice, of Waltham, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the E.N. Rogers Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford. He was 96.
Armando was born in Watertown of July 5, 1919, a son of the late Alfonso and Maria (Polignone) Iodice, and was a graduate of Watertown High School. A Waltham resident for more than sixty years he worked for the Raytheon Company until his retirement.
During World War II Armando served with the United States Army Air Corps during the India-China-Burma Campaign.
He leaves his wife, Phyllis A. (Filosa) Iodice; his children, Michel Iodice, Joseph Iodice, Maria Harrington and David Iodice and his sisters, Phyllis Iodice, Theresa Centola, Susan Iodice and Lucille Landry. He was also the grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of five.
Armando was also the father of the late Alfred J. Iodice and a brother of the late Quorino, Alfred, Albert, Michael and Raymond Iodice.
Funeral services will be private.
