Arnold C. Gray

Waltham - Mr. Arnold C. Gray, of Waltham, died Tuesday May 9, 2006 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He was 73. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Arnold H. and Alma B. (Hayes) Gray, he worked for many years as a produce manager for Star Market. Arnold was a member of the George D. Carson American Legion Post No. 141 in Newton. He was an avid gardener and loved the ocean. During the Korean War he served with the United States Air Force. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy A. Murphy and her husband, Paul of West Newfield, Maine; one brother, Floyd Gray of Standish, Maine; his former wife, Virginia M. (Bower) Gray of Framingham; one granddaughter, Heather Gray and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
