Fairfax (VA) Mr. Arthur L. Hebert, 94, of Fairfax, Virginia, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax. He was the husband of Dora M. (Melanson) Hebert for 67 years. Mr. Hebert was born in Waltham, son of the late Denis and Adeline (Pellerin) Hebert. He moved to Fitchburg in the 1940s and was employed by DeJonge Paper Co. and later by Weyerhaeuser Paper Co. He was a member and officer of Father Robert E. Nudd Council 7369, Knights of Columbus of Chantilly, Va. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Carl J. Hebert and his wife, Alberta A. (Croteau), of Fairfax, and a daughter, Sandra M. (Hebert) Simon and her husband, Paul F., of Grandy, N.C.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in 1985 by his daughter, Janice A. Hebert, and by nine brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 6, 2006, at 2 p.m., at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Burial will be Tuesday, January 10, at 1 p.m., in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
