Arthur H. Melanson

Billerica- Mr. Arthur H. Melanson of Billerica, formerly of Waltham died Wednesday July 4, 2007 in his home. He was 79. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Joseph and Elin ( Holm) Melanson, Arthur was a Branch Manager for Beacon Cycle in Billerica for many years. Arthur was also a volunteer driver for JSC Transportation. Arthur was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Army He was the brother of the late Robert and Lorraine Melanson. He leaves his wife Eleanor M. (Caira) Melanson, two daughters Cheryl A. Melanson and Judy M. Lessard both of Billerica, one brother Russell Melanson of Natick, two grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer Melanson, one great-grandchild Hayli Melanson and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8 a.m. from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 6-8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Melanson Family
