New Ipswich, NH - Mrs. Barbara M. (Butler) Brandt, of New Ipswich, formerly of Waltham died Friday, November 16, 2012 in her home. She was 85.
Barbara was born in Waltham on June 21, 1927, a daughter of the late Elmer A. and Mildred W. (Eagan) Butler. She had lived in Waltham and in Orange before moving to New Hampshire seven years ago. She owned Bridal Belle Bridal Shop in Waltham until her retirement and was devoted to her family. Barbara was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Waltham V.F.W. Sullivan Post #10334 for several years.
She was the wife of the late William Earl Brandt and the sister of the late Robert E. Butler, Paul A. Butler and Warren J. Butler.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Kathleen A. Brandt of Northborough and Christine M. Brandt-McCall and her husband, Stan, of New Ipswich, NH; her grandchildren, Dawn Capezzuto, Maureen Hansen, Andrea LeMay, Brian Brandt, and Kelly Callahan; her great grandchildren, Madeline Hansen, Caitlin Capezzuto, Katherine Hansen, Raelin Callahan and Liam Callahan and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Barbara's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, November 25th from 2 to 5 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
