Mrs. Barbara J. (Cormier) Doucette of Waltham, died Monday, May 23, 2005 in Caritas St. Elizabeths Medical Center in Brighton. She was 77. Born in Newton, Mrs. Doucette had lived in Waltham for over fifty years. An avid Red Sox fan, Mrs. Doucette also enjoyed weekly card games with friends. She was the wife of the late Joseph W. Doucette, the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Redenbach) Cormier, and the sister of the late Alice Biggieri, Celia Poppleton, Florence Casavant, Helen, Clarence, Edward, and Arthur Cormier. She is survived by her children, Karen A. Doucette of Lakeville, Gail E. LeBlanc of Franklin, Barbara J. Francis of Maine, Kenneth R. Doucette of New Hampshire, Joseph W. Doucette, Jr. and David B. Doucette both of Waltham; her sister, Irene Burgett of Wayland ; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham, followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 10 am.
