Waltham Mrs. Barbara A. (Mulcahy) Kelly of Waltham died Saturday, December 4, 2004 at her home. She was 80. Born in Concord, a daughter of the late George and Ruth (Latham) Mulcahy, she lived in Waltham for more than 50 years. Barbara was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Until her retirement she worked for 27 years for the Waltham School Department cafeterias, most recently at the Fitzgerald School in Warrendale. She leaves her husband of 57 years, John W. Bill Kelly; her children, John Kelly and his wife Jeanne of Falmouth, James Kelly and his wife Alice of Waltham, Kevin Kelly of Pittsfield and Kathleen Vaughan and her husband John of Arlington; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late Richard, George, Donald and Marjorie Mulcahy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 10 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 11 a.m. Committal services will be held in Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Waltham.
