Marlborough - Barbara A. Raguso, formerly of Waltham, died at home on Thursday, July 29, 2021 after an illness. She was 83.
Barbara was born on December 4, 1937 in Waltham a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Alice (Furlong) Raguso. Raised in Waltham she graduated from Rosary Academy. She worked at her family owned bakery, 'Barbara Ann Bakery' which began on Main Street in Waltham and later moved to Lexington Street. She then worked for Raytheon Corporation for over twenty years and lastly as a client account specialist for Fidelity Investments for over ten years, retiring in 2002.
Barbara loved life and the people in it. She had a terrific sense of humor and loved the holidays, including Halloween. She loved to dance, play scrabble and various games on her iPad.
Beloved mother of Bonnie M. Keefe (Edward) of Marlborough, Charlene L. Maron of Framingham and Laurie A. Borr (David) of Ashland; her grandchildren, Erica Silva (Joshua) and Corey Maron; her great-granddaughter, Charlie Jo; her sister, Nancy Lee Barbetta of Palm Harbor, Florida and the late Frank J. and Peter Raguso; her former husband, Joseph F. Nutile of Waltham; also survived by nieces & nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Barbara's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, August 5th from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 7 p.m.
