Barbara L. Morrison R.C.E.

Cambridge - Sr. Barbara L. Morrison, R.C.E. of Cambridge died Monday, July 26, 2004 at Sancta Maria Nursing Center, Cambridge. She was 68. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Sidney and Frances (Cullinan) Morrison, she graduated from Cathedral High School in Boston and from Boston College. Sr. Barbara entered the Religious of Christian Education congregation in August, 1957 and professed her final vows at Jeanne d'Arc Academy in Milton in August, 1964. Sr. Barbara taught at Marycliff Academy, Winchester, St. Genevieve of the Pines School, Ashville, NC and at Immaculata School in Hendersonville, NC. She leaves her sisters, Lois Homsey of Billerica and Sylvia Aylward of Altamont, NY and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Friday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, 519 Main Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.
