Waltham – Mrs. Barbara E. (Doyle) Robinshaw of Waltham died Thursday, November 20, 2003 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 83. A lifelong Waltham resident, Mrs. Robinshaw was employed as a clerk for 15 years by the Registry of Motor Vehicles until her retirement. She was a late member of the Stigmatine Ladies Guild, Past-President of St. Joseph’s Girl Scouts and of St. Mary’s Mother’s Club. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Robinshaw, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Eagan) Doyle and the sister of the late John, Lawrence, Robert, Charles, George and Paul Doyle and Margaret Grassby. Mrs. Robinshaw is survived by her children, Joseph P. Robinshaw and his wife Norma of Framingham, Retired Waltham Fire Dept. Lieut. James M. Robinshaw, and his wife Patricia of Florida, and Sheila A. Bennett and Gary Marcou of Waltham; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 145 School Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting Hours are Sunday 4-8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Boston Area Office, One Bromfield Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02108.
