Waltham – Mrs. Barbara M. Rosolko of Waltham, died on Wednesday September 17, 2014 in Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. She was 83.
Barbara was born in Malden on May 25, 1931, the daughter of the late Francis and Esther (Windburg) Hamilton. She was raised and educated in Malden and graduated from Malden High in 1948. Soon after her marriage to Constantine E. Rosolko the pair settled in Waltham where they would raise their family. She was a stay at home mom until her children were in their teens, she then went to work as a medical secretary at Anesthesia Associates on Hope Avenue in Waltham.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was always smiling and was happiest when around family, especially her granddaughter Leanne, either baking together, gardening or working on an arts and crafts project. She was dedicated to her faith and had been very active at Trinity Church in Waltham, formerly The First Congregational Church.
She was the wife of the late Constantine E. Rosolko and is survived by her children, Nancy Lee Rosolko and her husband, John Balducci, of Eliot, Maine, David M. Rosolko and his wife, Diane, of Clinton and Mark N. Rosolko and his wife, Linda, of Waltham; her granddaughter Leanne Rosolko; her sister Virginia Wood of Stoneham and her late husband Raymond; her sister-in-law Helen McKinnon of Everett and her late husband Robert and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Barbara's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, September 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. and again at 9:00 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Trinity Church, 730 Main St., Waltham where her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
