Marlborough - Mrs. Barbara (Hatch) Shaw, of Marlborough, formerly of Waltham, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 82. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Frank B. and Pauline R. (Mason) Hatch, she had lived in Waltham for almost fifty years before moving to Marlborough four years ago. Barbara worked at Waltham Savings Bank for thirty-four years before retiring as vice-president in 1990. She had been a member of the Waltham Historical Society, the Friends of the Waltham Public Library and had been a longtime active member of First Congregational Church of Waltham. The wife of the late Robert H. Shaw, she leaves her children, Diane E. Mason and her husband, Jeffrey E., of Hudson and Linda A. Warren and her companion, Robert J. McGilvray, of Marlborough; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Barbaras Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in First Congregational Church, 730 Main Street, Waltham.
